30's Midnite Blue Dobbs for Felt Day. I coordinated it with a like-coloured tie which is, also, about as old as the hat.

Sunday's ferry ride

We took a ferry ride Sunday and my girlfriend took over 300 pics, as usual. Here are two of me and Angie. The hat is one of my favorites - A Bailey 'Collins'.

It was a silverbelly Camp Draft kinda day...although the chemo nurse mentioned that she knew I had other hats, and she's seen the CD a lot...So tomorrow I'll need to wear something different.

Today it was "back to school" for my daughter Laura - I chose a Stetson 20 for the occasion. As you see, a blue and grey palette...

Although a 50's hat, it came with a 20's-30's center dent with side creases, which I kept.

Sharp as usual. You've really got a cavalier air about you.

My only Optimo

Which I got from a FL member in Texas...even though I live in Chicago. Go figure.

Originally had a deep diamond crease -

Changed it to a high center dent because I felt it balanced better with the brim. These horrible pictures--taken late this evening after a "long day at the office" and a bit of Japanese whisky--appeal to me in a colorful and masochistic aort of way. I like to think I resemble a seedy character from a mediocre novel.

The hat looks decent in any case.
