I'm thinking of Dark Moss with the ashen green vintage ribbon...I love it BUT if you want a shade of deep brown Whiskey will be my first choice. Pecan a close second.

It must be genetic. Love the picture, one to keep in your wallet. In the continuing effort to expand our base, again I present my oldest grandson. This morning wearing this (his newest) lid BEFORE he even got out of bed.

Is (are?) there any amongst us who doesn't get dressed in that order; HAT FIRST?! The boy makes me proud!!
That is one fantastic Playboy Ant. The perfect crease, as we have come to expect. Question, did this one sell from a company store originally? Is the Chestnut Street address a store or the Stetson headquarters?couldn't get this Playboy on my head fast enough.
you all look fantastic... thank you for the inspiration

Yes, this is one great looking stiff felt. I like the curl of that brim. Nice Moe!Hey all!
Schoble Warburton Bowler with a Corneliani tweed today. Don't know how long the tweed will stay on, but it does look nice with a bowler.
Have a great day!

Out-fricken-standing Jer! You really scored on this one. The lines are very interesting, brim and crown are really special. I think we are all crazy buying these hats we can't wear in this heat. It was 100 here in Oregon today. I want rain and freezing temperatures! My early Mallory Derby arrived today! I will try and follow that marvelous Schoble Warburton as best I can. Looks great Moe!
My Mallory was in better than I expected condition. Found a cool union trademark under the sweat. The label has the established date as 1823 so it's definitely pre 46' and based on some of the other indicators I am hoping 20s-30s vintage or earlier? I am very new to this early of a hat as I never thought at a 7 5/8 I would ever have the chance at owning one. View attachment 81487 View attachment 81488 View attachment 81489 View attachment 81490
I do like that Adam, at a buck ninety five, how could you go wrong. I didn't like Vegas when they first came out, but just maybe I could be persuaded...stellar hats today fellas! just got home after taking the wife and my younger sister to see some classic cars in the annual Hot August Nights car event. well over 6000 pre-1972 vehicles

Wearing a black felt Jay Lord Hatter out of Manhattan NY—its soft and pliable.
Very nice Samuel. The classic lines of that black beauty suit you well.

Hi Guys, I have recently completed a ladies hat in Black hare fur felt. it has a 4.5" telescopic crown with a 2.5" straight brim. I have put a vintage 1960 Cotton and Rayon ribbon (coke colour). Let me know your thoughts.
this vintage stratoliner is the last hat I'll need.
Been saying that for years....
I have one hundred and something last hats
Well -- he said "need", not "want"
you think I want all these hats ?
