Happy official Birthday my friend!! Love the brim on that Stetson.Well, @hatsRme Charlie, I tried holding the camera up high but it really scrunches up my jacket, LOL! Wow, these pics really show spots on the black felt. Honestly, it shows spots that aren't even there. I brushed the felt and it looks great, although there are some water spots on the ribbon.
A simple, modern, Stetson Downs for the birthday boy today, wearing a jacket with my new, dark burgundy (Bordeaux??? Syrah??? Touriga Nacional???) birthday shirt from MrsFed. It's the 28th anniversary of my 29th birthday!

These conversions of yours are incredible. I love each one of these mile high beauties. But this color...Wow! I think it is my favorite.I'm impressed with the nice collection of lids everyone is wearing. I'm envious. Happy Good Friday to all, btw.
Today I'll be wearing one of my more recent Stagecoach conversions in chestnut color...from this morning.

Mmmmmm Izzy's, now I want to go there. Have to starve up instead of save up for that!I got my free Red Robbin burger a couple weeks ago, the actual B-Day is today... so I'm getting a free lunch with MrsFed, a free dinner at Izzy's buffet and a free ice cream cone at the local Serendipity Ice Cream Parlor!

Envy and covet Alan. Beautiful example of history.A hat from that other Philadelphia maker. Stratoliner inspired thin ribbon in an unusual mauve/gray with a very deeply scooped flange, fine felt and high quality construction. Union made in the mid 1940s.
Beautiful yard and garden Justin. Still lovin the Locke & Co!I love being in the garden. The wife and I just finished weeding the front and back yards. This year's ample rain season followed by the glorious California heat and sunshine caused quite a bit of overgrowth. We got it under control again, though! Provided the wild birds that nest around my hill don't eat everything before I get a chance to harvest, I should have plenty of basil, artichokes, asparagus, strawberries, figs, grapes, pomegranates, and nectarines this Spring:
Also -- old faithful today: Lock and Co for Brooks Brothers:
And to you and yours Daniele.
I think this is the best thread to wish you a Happy Easter
I do it with flowers from my garden
Happy Easter hats friends, have fun and spend quiet days
We are going to have sun tomorrow, but I don't have it in me to wear a boater until "high summer". Maybe in May. You go for it though. I can live vicariously though your strawness.Hey all!
Due to the appearance of a giant ball of burning gas (and not from the chili I ate last night) this Brent.
Have a great day!

Oh, this was just 'cause sun. I had to change a little later when the chill returned. I am looking forward to "real" straw days soon though. We are going to have sun tomorrow, but I don't have it in me to wear a boater until "high summer". Maybe in May. You go for it though. Playboy for a weekend Jim. Oh, you are talking about a hat... I understand now.The wife had to go out of town for the weekend, so I'm batchin' it. Heading out to the local pub for some grub (fish, natch!). I figured a Playboy would be appropriate. [emoji41]

Ha! Whenever I travel I look for old train depots, especially if they're restored and preserved. Denver has one of the best, and you can still catch trains outside..
