As far as the tie, during the "learning curve" portion several years ago, I'd stand in front of the mirror working on it 'til I had to take a break to let the blood back into my arms .

RLK - the antique store across the street has about ten westerns in your size, mostly from the '60s - all sorts of styles. If interested, let me know and I'll go take pics and get prices for you. One was similar to the one you're wearing, also some lower quality Stetsons and a decent grey-brown Resistol that I almost bought.

Hey Jimmy, lookin good! Whats the brim size on that? Switch the bound brim for a cav edge and its identical to that Turf Club I just picked up. I had a hard time getting the color to look right, but your pic is spot on.

That's cool, rlk. The brim kinda' reminds me of those flash flood carved canyons. Overall, a very interesting western. I like it.
