The case isn't from the hat store that sold the hat. It's from the time period so I assume it was from the original owner. The paper wrapping and crown protector appear to be original. The sweatband is time stamped 5/15/1929.

Thank you. It does, but unfortunately it is very faded. i tried to take a picture, but it doesn't really show the details and the colours are a bit off. The liner is white with a red and gold crest:

Underneath the crest there is actually a banner saying "Superior Quality" which is so faded it is practically invisible now. The words underneath (Hobson London) are also almost gone and barely discernible in the photo.
