Foggy and cold for a special day in Verona
Today every child found the gifts when awake.
This is Santa Lucia tradition here in town and surrounds and in Siracusa (Sicily), more stronger than Christmas

It is the brother of the yesterday's hat. The color change

It is made of the same fur felt color is cream

Brown ribbon is in contrast with the fancy color of the felt

And the complete variety of sweets of my son and daughter (they have each of every one to avoid battle)

The shortcrust pastry are the "special" for this day
The round plate contains the"modern" variety of sweets....when I was a child it was more poor
Tangerines, dates, dried figs, almonds (mandorlato) and a small chocolate bar. Nothing more

This thread is such a treasure! I am in awe of everybody's hat collections here, especially @mayserwegener 's and @Daniele Tanto 's. Today I wore my old Hobson black fedora (or rather "classic trilby" as my old English milliner once assured me). It's not the grandest of hats, and the brim could benefit from a bit of steaming, but I've had it for 18 years and have worn it through rain and snow so it's pretty much molded itself perfectly to the shape of my head and doesn't get blown of by the autumn winds.

As I stood before my hat rack, I asked the question that we all ask ourselves daily...WWHW? (What Would Harv Wear?). Don't deny it, we all do except Harv unless he secretly refers to himself in the third person, in which case he does. But this time, the pressure was on, because today...

I AM HARV!!!

So what would Harv wear? He'd wear a 50's Tonak Seal Velour, of course.
