That hat is a completely different animal than any I've owned so far. The felt is... I'm not even sure how to rate it. It's very clay -like. It takes and holds a crease like nothing I've ever had. I actually like the felt better than the felt on the 1940s Dobbs 40 I have although it is very nice.

Bummer for you. That stinks.

NOW... let's get something straight: the hat monkey is constantly on my back whispering "buy that one!" "And that one, too" and other such things. He doesn't need your help! In fact, he already has been working on me about that thing.

Damn it... I am now very worried that the monkey will force me to drive my car over there and buy that thing.

A POX UPON YOUR HOUSE EVIL HAT MONKEY!

A POX, I SAY!
Give in to your inner Monkey! That pith fits me, but it is probably not worth shipping. You better keep it.

The cold came to Virginia Beach last night, too. Because we are so close to the gulf stream, the cold generally gets moderated pretty well. So, we stayed in the high 30s last night.

This morning, headed out to mass under the Imperial Stetson homburg. It's another one of those hats that just fills me with child-like glee. The color is marvelous and the hat's "mood" changes remarkably in different lighting. The partial brim binding seems unusual to me. In short: I really dig this hat. As usual, too many pictures (narcissism [emoji6] and I like the various lighting effects). Sorry. Here's wishing you each a joyful day.
I really like how it gets some baby blue tones. The brim is special. Ever considered a slight pinch, making it kind of a Lord's Hat?

Hey everyone!
Last night was one of those nights where there was nothing good on, I was caught up on my recordings, and just didn't feel like Netflixing into oblivion. So, (pun intended) I decided to upgrade my Parabuntal with a new perforated sweatband that I recently bought for this very purpose. The cotton twill tape I had originally put in it just never really felt right. Threw on a pug, but I may put the ribbon and bow back later. The sun just happened to come out in time to enjoy it for a while. Hope it lasts!

great description

when I took it out of the box and pinched the felt my knees got weak ... then when I went to put it on my head and realized it was too small my heart broke

that hat would never have to see a drop of steam if you didn't want to ...

that felt that we all look for like Nessie ... does it really exist ? ;)
