I might not leave the house today. But if I do, I will pick one of these three sages. Any one would be a wise choice, I think. From left to right, Stetson Bantam, Knox Twenty, StylePark by Templeform.

(Sage green is such a hard color to photograph with a phone camera. This one is pretty accurate).

ALL beauties, Alan! The Stylepark has the same wind cord button position as my Stylepark, semi-centered on the back "flap" of the bow. I had thought this feature wasn't original to the hat, but now I wonder...

Hi Charlie... definitely original. The fixed wind cord button had brief fling at Stetson around 1940. This Imperial Stetson (3x Beaver Quality) is an example. The looped string uses a button on the coat rather than a buttonhole.

Cool pick, I need to go back to Europe in fall, and walk by the early morning on an empty street........darn I could even feel that smell of fall in Europe.

You are right.

There is nothing like a very early morning walk in Paris.
When I go to check out the new ribbon collection of one of my suppliers I take an earlier train just for that.

Though Antwerp isn't bad either.

You know when you are in the neighbourhood the beer's on me

I like very much the sage color.....all three are astounding and very well shooted.
The rendition of the color is good....I have a curiosity about the Steson Bantam
Do you know when Stetson made the patent of Bantam type?
I have a whole afternoon at home looking to some historical books about Italians hats producers
Cappellificio Cervo has a very famous bantam hat in production
1z6cbco.jpg

the hat for Italian Alps troops and they seems had introduced the civil hat around 1934-35
So if you have more information about that name let me know. Thanks
