Good morning, fellow Loungers! Hi Esther, nice (would that be considered a) cloche? Incidentally, you're not the only one who doesn't know what John is saying...

Good gosh, a tremendous display yesterday. Great hats and caps. In to the office this morning before taking some time off over the rest of this week and next. Only a week or so ago, I was able to photograph myself outside in the sunlight on my way in - now it's too dark. Fall has definitely arrived here. The rains Terry referred to passed through yesterday in a constant drizzle and brought much cooler temps. However, my CD survived it with room to spare (as I'm sure none of you are surprised to hear).

Today, I decided to make it Whippet Whednesday here in Funkytown.

Looking forward to today's displays. Bring 'em on!

Well, it's a wicked "wainy" Wednesday awound Wandolph... But we're GOOD under a Vintage Silhouettes (VS) lite lid, in Sahara color with a stingy 2-1/8" bound brim, and an umbrella!

That's Miles, secretly adding his own touch to the precipitation...

Frun your WAR lid of this morning is incredible!

All the wide ones today were special, and the thin ones were rocking, too!!

Joao,

I love that stingy brim nutria:D
No you don't neither do I ;)
I only tolerate it because it's a Nutria fur hat. You don't know how much I wish it had a wiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiider brim.

John Galt: FEPSA do not make Nutria nor Nutria blend fur hat bodies. :(

I'm in the most impossible hat to photograph. It's actually a salmon/pink colour but turns orange on every camera.
I think it's a nice bold color!

HEY! A Mac user! I'm not alone!

Stingy brims under an umbrella usually work. ;)

Thank you.

I think that's some sort of expression I'm not familiar with. That is unless you are a terrible terrible nail biter like me...
Am I having a blond moment

No, I think it was just too abstract a reference. The image in my mind was of Jerry Lewis or Jim Carrey biting their own hand on seeing a pretty girl. I looked but couldn't find a photo or video. It would be something akin to this:

My hat today: A Champ featherweight that is bluer than the heavens this cloudy day in Chico.

Oh haha, yes now I get it.

Well thank you John :) just scruffy old me.

That hat is a good colour on you!
I'm sure i could learn from you( if i look at Tj's hat. )
I always use hat blocks to block my hats, I'm not that talented when it comes to putting the dents in by hand...
