Thanks for the appreciations.
Many super hats this week!
It seems that this Saturday afternoon we will have the first storm of the season....

Carlton Brown French made in the fifties. A classy hat from the other side of the Alps. Excellent finishes and fur felt.

Very similar to the Stetson Playboy (Your comments make text because my experience with Americans hats is very low)

Have a nice Saturday and Sunday

Bob the wisteria has a more later bloom, very thin. I will provide some pictures

Nice deep rich color Daniele and goes well with the jacket. I do njoy when the flowering shrubs have a 2nd bloom especially in the late summer early fall. They don't want to let go of this beautiful season!

Thanks. I actually looked for a sport coat with that hat in mind. They didn't have anything in "Cornhill," but this "tobacco" color seemed to be close enough.

Nice start to the weekend, everyone.

Matt - Bob did a super job on your new hat.

Daniele - I always enjoy the backgrounds to your photos (and seeing your hats too!)

Thanks for the comments on last night's 7XCB. It is as good as new this morning after the little rain last night.

After the rain, today is fresh with low humidity, I started off with my Garrison Raiders hat to go out on the trails with Pearl, then switched to my Newt at the Royal Montecristi walk to town on a few errands

These Newtsters are made by Optimo in Chicago so are rather nice Panamas.

I figured out the picture problem!!

I just received this in the mail today. Can anyone tell me how old and what it's worth? I got a great deal on ebay.

VMT, looks great. I'd guess 50's. There is a Dobbs guide but I can't locate it at the moment. As to price, size is key. A 7 1/2 is worth a lot more than a 7.

Tommy, I love the modified cattleman's crease. I never can seem to get it right though. Maybe I'll try it again.

I began the day in my just-arrived Fed IV (attire chosen to match the hat, of course) for a Saturday morning at work...

Afternoon: Then after sweating in my new Campdraft on the sunny front porch to break it in a little, it was time to move to the much cooler porch room. I love Saturdays.

Looking great Java. I like seeing the Indy hat with non-Indy atire.
And the Bluegrass green Camp Draft-I think you've convinced me I've got to get one. Hope I don't have to wait 3 months, they're out of size60.

Akubra Camp Draft with Durand's modified cattleman crease.

Looks good! I covet your hats, too, I might add. Not a bad one in the bunch. You'll like the BGCD. I think I'm going to have to get one in Silverbelly.

Dave, your CD looks great, and the Fed matches up well with the attire, too.

Gray Borsalino Alessandria today.

The Everything Australian website still says size 60 (and 61 and 64) won't be available until May.

Just a suggestion--keep an eye on their website. Their last batch of size 60 Bluegrass Green Campdrafts arrived early, and sold out again in two or three days. Of course, you can always order one now and they'll ship it as soon as they receive their restock.
