Thanks, Alan! Isn't it worse up Buffalo way?

Harv, sorry I missed your question. That restaurant is King Yum in Fresh Meadow, Queens. (It's one of only two remaining Polynesian-pop restaurants in the metro area that I know of. The other is Chan's Dragon Inn. More about that one in a few weeks!)

No... this storm is passing to the south of us. Cold and an inch or two of snow over the next two days. Hoping that my dad out on eastern LI won't lose power.

Sam that IS a wild and WOOLY look today... PERFECT for what's coming!

You ALL are looking ready for anything.
Over the weekend I went with my daughter to inspect her wedding venue. Three weeks and counting...
Wearing my Lee Gold Label to enjoy the view of Boston.

Today, in anticipation of what's being billed as "The storm of the Century" around here, looking very upbeat and positive in my Olde English Hatters fedora

Looking sharp in both lids, Charlie! I really like the Olde English. Don't remember seeing that one before.
Keep safe during the storm, my friend!

Great caps, Greg and S4C. Greg, that is one of my favorites!

Sam, you are ready for the cold and snow with that one! I believe you could pull off almost any hat. Awesome!

Good morning fellows. This morning finds me enjoying my Cordova cap. The gymnasts and I have just finished conditioning, vault and dance rotations. The gymnasts on their way to school. I am heading out for morning coffee.

Cool overcast light snowy day makes the cap a perfect head companion.

Best, Eric -

Reaching back a bit, Terry, we ALL have lot's of "esplainin'" to do where hats and wives are concerned, I think. Even those with spousal support had to first broach the subject with some form of discussion/disgust.

That Cordova is a terrific cap, Eric.

Thanks, Harv! The black hat is a relatively new addition, only posted once or twice before. Made in France, it is a distinctly different look than typical for me. Mortician-like, I think. I was once told that my goal towards a career of working with people would be best fulfilled if I became a mortician...

Charlie, that's a killer look!! I'm fortunate in that my wife likes my hats. She's just not too crazy about the hat boxes taking up space in the house!

Harv, thanks for the comment on that cap. I think all Damian's details came together just right on this one. Precise construction, a vintage-correct shape and a vintage-looking fabric. And it fits like a dream.

Eric, what a wonderfully warm and cozy looking cap!

Thanks for the comments on the cap folks.

Piling on Terry: I do tell my wife about my hat/cap purchases. I appreciate her tempering or reminding me of agreed goals. We do speak about our individual pursuits/hobbys or passions. I find it a great conversation with my friend I am married to. Additionally, she has on occasion read posts I or others have posted on-line. I found, when I first joined the hat world this was wonderful for both of us. She was reassured that while I may be obsessive or nuts, I am not alone in that malady. Hiding hat boxes or purchases- I do not try it as I am not a very good actor. I try to know my limits.

Capped today, Eric -

SUPER coverage today, Joao! A day of the brim, indeed!

Thanks for the comments, boys! Maybe there's hope for me as an undertaker yet! I always wanted a career where I would be working with people.
