David: I'm very jealous of your AB. A grey "train" hat like yours is on my 'bucket list' of hats before Mr. Delk retires.
Perry: great OR! Tall crown on that one.
Sam: It's been said before, but the ribbon treatment on your Max is just so good.
AnA: Cavanagh sure made some nice lids back in the day! That one looks like "cousin" to my grey Cavanagh Homburg. Slight fray at the end of the ribbon?
Manfred: Great cap!
John Galt: Nice playboy, in a rarer color to boot.
ManofKent: good choice of tie for that ribbon!

For me today, enjoying the warming temperatures in my hand-dyed OR style Milan from Black Sheep Hat Works:

Maybe not for everyone, but I LOVE the asymmetrical brim that Bob put in this one.

Jared - That Milan looks good - nice colour
Alan - Looks a little on the warm side for this time of year, but a very nice finish - smooth enough for a topper

A cool morning in Cleveland.

Carbon gray Akubra Fedora. An ebay purchase just arrived yesterday. Never worn previously. $45 plus shipping. There are some advantages to wearing a 56/57, as you can sometimes get a reasonable deal. Seller was happy - buyer was happy. Everyone's happy. I need to learn to smile.

A vanity issue - but I'm not satisfied with my smile. Just had the impressions made at the dentist office for my whitening trays. A month from now my smile should be very different from what it is today. Seems the older I get the more concerned with appearance I become. Silly perhaps. But that is one of the reasons I wear fedoras - I look better in a hat. But then, we all do.

1920s Stetson Expo. Pretty soon, my photo will be on the family wall, next to the previous service members. My dad is over my left shoulder (Army), hidden behind me is my great grand-father (Army), and to my left is my grandmother's brother (Marines).

a great collectiont of hats, gentlemen. Every hat is unique in his art and wise and how the man wear it. That is one of the best places to see examples!

Justin, your photo must find a place near your dad. That is the right place.
I hope all goes well for you. To find the right hat you have a good nose for it.
Look at the 1920 Stetson, a wonderful hat!

David, a sharp Straw hat! Your collection is amazing!

Sam, that is funny, I guess you sit on the same chair that I bought on a flea market yesterday. Great Resistol!

Steve, what a beauty. The Color and Shape works perfect for you!

Rusty, wow, what a sharp look. Great the hat and suit combination. You look as a proud dad. I want to congratulate you!

Andy, that is a great deal for you. The hat fit and looks great on you!
