I shall fulfill my duty as an Englishman and complain about the weather. 20 mph wind gusting up to 40 mph in the middle of June [huh]. It was a cap or risk a bowler...
ManofKent--We do a pretty good job of complaining about the weather here in the States, too. Coastal Californians are noticeably quick to grouse about conditions that are anything but sunny and 75 degrees F.
Good looks for you these last days, especially the blue overcoat you were wearing yesterday, and the cap you're wearing today suits you as well.
Everyone else is looking fine today, too.
This may look like the same hat as yesterday due to my camera, the location and the light, but it's not.
[Josh, my best wishes. Not on here often enough myself these days to have said that in a timely manner.]
Visited Gibraltar a few days ago on one of the few windless days there.
The rock is riddled with seige tunnels from many wars. This shot is taken at the east end of one, looking out over the Med. The tunnel is only about 200 feet long and begins on the west side of the Rock.
Barbary apes live atop the Rock.
Stopped at a fencing museum on the way home, which is inside of a coastal Roman fortress, through the door to the right of my wife.
I took a picture of a poster from 1893 that depicted a duel that happened at the time. The spectators were wearing quite the array of hats: bowler, boater, homburg, fedora, lord's hat, and a top hat. Alas, the glass reflected away the image.
Apologies for only the Akubra Byron. Too hot and sunny for anything else.
Indeed, Randall... GREAT photos. Now I think you may have found the site for the next FedoraFest. Can you see Tangiers from your vista?! Thank you for the great tours.
Working on the wedding today.
I took time to have an ice cold sip of Georgia applejack from cuzin Tom.
I wore my sage Buckaroo Milan again today.

Here are a few pics from some recent client visits. One of our markets is sports. We provide the audio systems for stadiums, arenas, and amphitheaters. I recently took a trip to Hoover, AL to visit the Hoover Met. This was home to the Birmingham Barons minor league baseball team before they moved to the city of Birmingham.
David, no suprise to your hat. Your AB laughs about rain. Good choice.
Prerry, you are the OR King. So many great ORs one nicer as the other!
Sam, that's a hat for the ages! Excellent hat!
AnA, feels luxurious and looks indeed luxurious. The Che style fits you great!
Not so spectacular as your hats today, gentlemen, my Cap. Unknown brand for me but with a lovely shape.
Windy Day in Germany - so a cap day for me!
Sorry for that blurry IPhone photo but that cam is new for me.
David, the AB looks perfect, even when "drippy!"
Perry, the OR is spot on!
Sam, Your Max is simply sublime...
A&A luxurious or luscious? Either word works!!
Mighty Manfred... name, or no name, the perfect cap, as always.
Today brings out the Stetson Sovereign... a size 8, fitting almost as comfortably as a VS Custom.
