What to wear, what to wear... why a Borsalino Colombo, of course.

Today I'm wearing my 1950's Stetson St. Regis that I converted about 6 months ago. I just recently put a higher flange on the brim for a nicer "swoop."

Josh, thanks... and glad you enjoyed those big derbies from Brown. I saw that photo in a bookstore window and took a snapshot of it with you in mind.

Z - we did summer in March. Back to spring here for a few weeks. I'm not quite ready to say goodnight to the fur felts yet.

Love the Loafabout, Randall!

Very sharp Buffalo Brrrsalino, Alan!

All excellent Monday lids, everyone.

Josh-- love that homburg conversion. Very, very, nicely done. Wear it proudly! (It only hurt a little to say that!) ;) I'm a sucker for rolled brims.

All my hats stayed in the basement today. But then I found this in my neighborhood antique shop a few hours ago, and it has been on my head since (after a rather vigorous brushing, cleaning, steaming, and recreasing)! It's a 3X Beaver Open Road. I will get around to posting more of it later.

I like that Colombo, Alan. Good crown height on you. Do your outsized westerns have a rack of their own?

Steve, that's the best lookin' woolie I've seen, worn with the perfect shirt.

JB, how do those fit fresh from the box? Any steaming required to make it comfortable?

Randall, they do fit very well straight out of the box. No steaming is required and they take a dry bash very well. I wear a size 59 and it is a tad bit snug on me but I'd rather not get the next size up and mess with sizing foam and all that. I highly recommend Akubra. They always looks so good right out of the box.
