I am really wowed because I was talking to the hat maker, Hufvud, about a hat order, and we finalized it. I emailed about a change to a cattlemens crease, and I think the maker remade the hat entirely. I felt bad, but I suppose he wants happy customers, and i really, really appreciate that . I'm sure I'll be happy w this Emerald Gray hat, Sudan Brown binding, charcoal thin ribbon, and cattlemens crease. The color scheme is the only thing similar to this pic. I also went with a 2 7/8 brim. The hat is being finished up, so in a couple weeks I'm sure it will be here.

Took a chance last night. I was cruising for $20 hats to play with, and found a pair of hats with a "buy it now" price of $55. One is a plain wool Mallory, but the other appears an older Royal Stetson (definately an older keyhole size tag style... maybe 50's) Liner is missing but sweat appears to be there. Wide binding and has a Whippitish look to it Felt looks to be decent. For a change in my hats, this one isnt crushed, stained or painted lol. Looking forward to seeing how its packed. Cant wait to get a closer look and go digging for any tags that may still be there inside

couldnt resist another Champ Featherweight... looks almost identical to my other one, but my old one has an olive ribbon and binding, and the one on its way had dark brown.. just different enough to tempt me. Had it in my watch list and the seller offered 20% off plus an additional 10% off with a promo code... Dang it... Id better put my wallet away for a while lol
