What hat are you waiting for today?

Nice, Bob! Does that say Akron, Ohio?

Thanks Fruno. Yep ... "The Hatterie" (still in business since 1908) / "Kelly Crowns Them All".

This will do nicely. Great snag, Ebay? It must have not been my size as it was not on my radar.

Thanks Red. Stumbled on it on eBay with a $25.99 BIN. Size 7-1/2.

I was worried what hat I would wear for @mmbarnes return to the Lounge on Easter. I think I may have it covered (and for only $31.73 shipped). The Stetson Special (late 1930s?):

Very nice, Ant!
thank you sir
we shall see what arrives
it is a 50s era hat
snagged it for $50
it has a little pin hole near the back near the ribbon ... I am anxious to see if I can duplicate filling it as I have done on few other hats
good looking piece though
and I am all but exhausted from looking for a Playboy in this very colorway ... this should scratch that itch for a minute or two

I'm glad that me hesitating didn't result in just any Joe-shmoe getting this one. I was going to pull the trigger, but had to eat dinner. I'm interested in how this one turns out Ant. Glad it is still in the family.
