Funny this thread came back up today. I just had a thought at work on Friday about the Lounge. Seems like I'm in the minority being in a blue-collar, manufacturing job.

Anyhow, still at the cheese factory, now working as a forklift driver.
Can't you just roll the cheese wheels onto the truck? :D

We don't make cheese wheels lol

The stuff I work with is loaf cheese.

This was made at work and likely hauled, restacked, and hauled again by yours truly

Better to shuffle cheese than shuffle electrons. You can't eat a balance sheet.

As for me, I still do what I did the last time this thread came up -- I manage a theatre, selling popcorn and distractions, fixing equipment and unstopping drains, and try to help teenage girls stay on the straight and narrow.

I also write about broadcasting history and do product development for a distributor of radio-program recordings, and write scripts incognito for a daily radio show heard on a national network.

I make electricity... power plant electrician / controls tech. Also buy and sell antiques I pick up at local auctions on the side. Buying is easy, but parting with most of the finds is the hard part! :)

I'm a licensed English teacher who is currently working as a middle school teacher in a residential treatment center. My class is the middle school girls. If you've ever seen the MTV show "Bad Girl's Club," you've seen my classroom.

I arm wrestle defense lawyers into pleading their clients guilty to crimes their clients didn’t commit. In less than three years, I plan to start arm wrestling prosecutors into dismissing their cases charged against my guilty clients.
