An IPA brewed in Alexandria, VA, of which I forget its "play on words" name (as all the brewers are doing now). Cold and from the tap. Very enjoyable.
Love the hat. I just can't stand Stella. Ive tried, just not my thing.
I'm not a fan of much citrus in beer. I'm not much of an IPA fan for that reason. I much prefer a nut & conifer flavor to my IPA's. Stella Pilsner has about as much citrus as I like.I just can't stand Stella. Ive tried, just not my thing.
Stella was a pretty standard light lager when I lived in Ukraine a few years back. About as common and as cheap as Coors light or Bud is here, and definitely better. It's a little pricy to enjoy a whole lot of here in the states, but it is a pretty refreshing beer on a warm summer evening. In general I don't care for the citrusy Belgian style beers, but with Stella it's very understated. Barely noticeable at all, in fact.I'm not a fan of much citrus in beer. Bought a bottle of Jack Daniel's Sinatra Select to gift to a friend tomorrow. Hopefully I'll get a taste.
He's the kind of friend a man only gets a few of in his lifetime.Nice gift. If you do get a taste, please let us read your review.
I'm intrigued. Sounds delicious and refreshing! My daughter wanted a milkshake (homemade ice cream, fresh raspberries, blackberries and raspberry brandy from the local University). There was some left over...[emoji3]
Jager. That brings back memories. Bad ones [emoji14]Neighbor and I downed almost an entire bottle of jager last night. Good thing I stay half-way cognitively sound when I'm drunk and had the sound mind to call his girlfriend to take him home. Well, drunk called, but I think she got the message. Fortunately, I don't experience hangovers, but I'm not sure old Jake is as fortunate.
FF, the Sinatra Select is supposed to be a "collectible" & comes in a special box & bottle, with a book on Sinatra. But what the hell said my friend, so he & I drank a couple of 3-finger pours each; the first pour neat & added just a few ice chips to pour #2.Nice gift.
