Red and white... hmm. Really Red Cross, aren't we?

I've gotten way more use out of this red blazer than I thought I would when I bought it on clearance at JAB for 39 bucks. (Lately the pricing on the JAB red and green blazers went to 19 bucks, which meant that at 50% off clearance you could get a 100% wool blazer for less than 10 dollars. The green jackets make it look as if you've won the Masters.)

So far I've worn the red blazer with black trousers, black tartan trousers, and winter white trousers. Looks great with all. The color is a conversation-starter, too.

I've ditched casual Friday for Bow Tie Friday. As I've said before on the Lounge: "if you see me in a bow tie, smile, its Friday." People now associate my bow ties with Friday -- which ain't bad.
