Could I just ask, how long are these, thigh length as most modern knits or is it more "vintage" in length?

Several reviews on the site complained that the top was 'too short' so I thought 'jackpot', and bought it right away.
It measures 26 inches long. Which isn't bad at all, but if you flip the waistband up, it is spot on.

Funny how most modern companies get it all wrong. Jumpers and sweater vests usually are too long and shawl collar cardigans way too short. :/

Generally with modern jumpers, I look for the ones that have a hem that ends before the cuff. This is at least better than the cuff=hem look which just looks stodgy and square to me. Then I flip the waistband up which of course is a vintage look in and of itself.

I do think it depends on the individual's proportions though:

The man on the right here seems to have long legs and a short torso, and I think he looks a bit like a frog with the combination he is wearing. [huh]

Jason I think the man on the right looks spot on, the jumper length need not be much longer than the waistband of the trouser, unless you are hauling up nets, as long as it covers the waist the shorter jumper lengthens the legs and give the body a solid compact form, and much like motorcycle jackets, which should also be short for the same reason, when you sit it doesn't gather around your waist and pile up in your lap.

I prefer shorter one's, much more flattering especially with pleated trousers..here's two old ones, its the bottom one for me...all modern jumpers are way too long
