What are you wearing today??

A muggy day checking on an old place of ours in Waynesville, NC - a 1909 farmhouse. Wearing a tropical weight wool suit w/patch pockets, 1940's Van Heusen tie, Resistol Panama hat, and Church's tan bucks.

Really outstanding ensemble, MM.

Yesterday was a very nice day here, so I wore a gray db jacket, blue wide-leg trousers, a red bowtie, and my boater. My supervisor said I was the 'spirit of August 1914'.

1930's Boater Redux....

I just finished removing the collar from an old shirt and stitching in some new button holes so I could try out this vintage 'double round' collar I've had for a few years...thought I should go the whole hog with the belt-backed linen DB and the boater!

Weather looks rather jumpy today so I'm wearing a white...linen shirt, I believe...a nice solid grey waistcoat and tie to give me an excuse to do up my buttons and stop the wind getting in.

This is five kinds of fantastic. Each element is great individually, but the sum is well beyond the parts.

Oh my goodness! You remind me of Sean Connery here. :)

Jinkies, that's exactly what I thought. They could conceivably be related - it's quite a striking resemblence. We should start a Fedora Lounge Lookalikes Register. I'll be The Fat Yul Brynner, obviously. ;) Dav is quite a ringer for James Nesbitt in some photos.
