What I hope is a 'preppy' look:
Tweed cap
Ralph Lauren button down shirt
Pure wool cable-knit sweater
Cream cotton trousers
Black English Oxfords.

No picture as I'm stuck at university without a camera.

It's only mid-September but today the weather was so chilly, wet and generally bleak and nasty that I felt compelled to break out my overcoat before I dared to leave the house. Brrrrrrrr...I didn't really want to...but I had to...

Quick pic for now - my apologies for the horrendous photo quality... reminder to use digital camera next time instead of Blackberry! :eusa_doh:

1950s blue cotton day dress with white embroidery, vintage-inspired canvas wedges.

Great look - an excellent example of how judiciously selecting various pieces from the wide available range of reproduction military gear can create an outstanding period civilian look.

You do look like you stepped off the set of "Seven Years in Tibet". A really cracking look, well done!

The look is great but I always prefer functional when in those areas. Well done! :eusa_clap Where did you find the Mountain Jacket, I dig on the look of it. Again, functional protection that looks the part. :eusa_clap

Cheers!
