Hey everyone I've been creeping around here for a bit but this is my first post. Also it snows in Maine as you can see!
very good look would have been nice to see with out scarf but still a good look i really like wing collars especially stiff detachable ones.

Wearing one of my new, flea-market-find collar-bars. Bought four of them, so far...

And dad said you couldn't find these things anymore. Pfft.

great look i own quite a few collar bar of all types. I know shirts not a stiff collar but have you tried them ?

Loving this. Very similar to Johnny Depp's Crybaby jacket.... very simple version of the style. Vintage, I presume? Any details?

No labels, unfortunately. The style has been around since the late '40s, pretty much unchanged other than the hardware. This one dates from the '70s. Langlitz is probably the biggest maker of the style, and I was told by a dealer who specializes in jackets like this that that's probably who made mine. There were a bunch of other companies in California who made them, though, and a lot of customizable options, so without a label, it's pretty much impossible to know for sure. I like the motorcycle jacket style, but not all the silver hardware and do-dads, so this clean, stripped down version is pretty much perfect for me.

Put on chesterfield and homburg to dine at the inlaws place. You can just see my youngest little one in the right corner. The second shot is sans chesterfield, to give an idea of the outfit. This ensemble was inspired by Father Bear from my daughter's favourite cartoon. I was hoping she would notice and get a kick out of it, but I guess daddy dresses in this manner so often that she didn't really notice lol.
