Yes. The Aero with the pie is great. I also like the bowtie in the other picture. Need to wear mine more often.

Dahrlin, it's great you decided to post more often. Your outfits are great.

Pip: Great style. Just my taste. Not too stiff and "cold".

Aero halfbelt? With a pipe stuffed in the pocket! Like a boss. What do you teach Edward?

Yes, a thirties halfbelt. Pretty much the standard, except with the old Aero B10 outer cloth as a lining, two outer breast pockets, two inner G1 pockets. Picked it up in their sale section about a year and a half ago - originally ordered by another lounger.

I'm a media law specialist; was out there teaching European and Chinese Privacy & Data Protection law...

I had to MC an end of term event last night so I went with an early 1950s Mr. T look:

Chasseur: Great as always, particularly fond of that tie!

Edward: That half belt is a beautiful jacket, I keep meaning to get one from Aero but I'm forever buying more Barnstormers... Must try and get round to it though. I'm particularly fond of the Hercules model they do!

F.F.Foey: Thank you very much!

Here's today, a CC41 double-breasted jacket, '30's trousers, '30's shirt and early 30's club tie (grandfather's!)...

Pip,

Wonderful! While I do not play either tennis (well not for many years) nor cricket, I really love that classic cricket look with the white flannell trousers, sweater, etc.

Hi everyone,

What I'm wearing: 1950s sheer summer dress, 50s slip, 50s flower necklace and bracelet, three Bakelite bangles, 50s red gloves, new belt, new red shoes, dress pattern purse. Excuse my silly poses, the photos were taken for a recent outfit post.

Many thanks! It's one I'm rather fond of too, a pair of white leather shoes would finish it off nicely, but they're yet to be found in my size... so brown brogues had to do!

Chrome - Great look, like the jacket!

BD, you are looking FAB as always ;)

Chrome, lovely lapels on your jacket, also what an interesting backdrop!

Pip, great look (got to love a bit of utility!) and my, what an envious setting- looks quite idyllic in my opinion!

Miss T, one can't beat a bit of CC41 at times! Thank you too, fortunately I'm lucky enough to call the setting 'home' most of the time!

B.D, just lovely!

Oh, the goldenrod yellow of that vest is yummy...I am risking some buttons in that shade on a brown cardi (work in progress) and really hoping to get away with it (I wanna be friends with yellow but is not reciprocated :))

Here is another knit from me and what I wear & look like when not committed to emulate a period look. Having said that this knit was inspired by similar creations from the 20's to early 30's, it's just not styled that way here and seems to blend in nicely with my modern stuff too. All the better.

Everyone looks fabulous as always. Loving those leather gloves, Darhling.

This was a couple of days ago, I think:

My Wife and I have been sitting here viewing all the pictures and posts, and have to say (not the first time we have thought this), but Edward, really, we cannot understand why no one has "found" you to cast you into movies?!?! Just these pictures show how much personality you have and by nature anyone can tell you have a very outgoing charm.
