This jacket has some of the nicest construction and tailoring of anything I've handled. And quite the interesting fabric. I wonder how a fur tailor ended up doing something of this sort. The details seem European.

Today, I had a chance to try on my new Land's End suit, it being my first 100% wool suit. It probably isn't much in the way of quality (it is "super 90s wool," and I like it more than the common "super 120s to 140s" options I saw at stores), but I wanted something affordable, and I happen to buy most of my dress clothing from there. Here are a few shots, all taken at night, so excuse the bright lighting. I'll try to post another couple of pictures during the day, next chance I wear it:

I think it fits fine for what it is; not a very well fitting bespoke suit, but as a "ready-to-wear" or "off-the-rack" option. I tried on a larger jacket size (40r, traditional fit), and it was too big, so I went down half a size (39r) in their tailored fit option, but the pants are still the fuller cut option, which I prefer, as their tailored fit pants look too tight on me.
