May I ask you, Madame: do you sleep at all? When I go to bed you are in the Lounge; and when I come back in the morning, you are still here. That's a little scary :eeek:
lol

I sleep exactly 6-7 hours. In fact it's almost time for bed .... it's a quarter to twelve now :)
I check in when I wake up, check in during chores and once again a few hours before bedtime. I think I'm a bit addicted to the FL, but I know I'm not alone ;)

Oh sure you're not alone! I always wonder how I survived during all the years when I didn't know the FL; It's by far the most exciting, inspiring and interesting place in all the internet. I get all my dressing inspirations from here... Thanks to all of you!
BTW: today I'm much more casual then normally. I go with a 1937 Denim Jeans by Pike Brothers (replica), a 1960's flannel shirt and black working shoes. Pics as soon as possible!

Gotta say I'm always deeply amazed when I see that you're not around...so much so that I'm starting to worry if you're alright... ;)

Lovely photo, by the way! :eusa_clap :D

lol That's sweet Mario ..... and thank you :)

And this is why I love the Lounge. Over the time we become like a family, where we start to worry when somebody is missing...

How very true :)

Ok, I promised you guys some photos of my clothes from today, and here they are; I had a lot of work to do at home, so I wore some working clothes. I want to draw your special attention to the pants. It's an exact replica of a 1937 work jeans. On the back you can even find the cinch back to make it fit perfectly. I love this pants, it is absolutely comfortable! The rest is not vintage, except for the flat cap from the 60's. So what do you think (please let's not talk about the fact that I need to loose 10lbs!)?

LOL. My little brother mentioned that. It's actuually the wheel on a wagon that sits on top of my desk.

Thanks Josh. Now that the weather has cooled off I'm trying to get all my suits out and make sure they still fit.

You can keep your part razor sharp if you straight razor it in.

Hey there Flattop comb. I posted on your blog too. Your pics of your shop are awesome, congrats on such a classic shop. Im hoping for some advice on how to get my cut looking exactly like yours in your September post I stumbled across. I had not heard of razoring in the part, but I see the advantage. Do you have to do this real often? I have been trying to explain to my barber to cut mine so its easy to find the part, I dont know why some barbers do not want to cut your hair specifically for a parted cut, I always try to tell them I keep it slicked back and parted in place but they still try to cut it so it can lay any certain way. any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, I would also like to know what pomade you use to get yours that shiny. If you have any close up pics I could show my barber, that would be awesome.

I also forgot to mention the suit is a very nice touch, and you have excellent taste, I see where the photographer called that your bank robber mug, you do in a way resemble the professional bank robber from back in the day, or like the stars in "Public Enemies"...

How about this jacket? Certainly not everyone's cup of tea, but I think it's pretty cool.
By Joseph Jaeger Fur Tailoring of Berkeley - long out of business.
This jacket has some of the nicest construction and tailoring of anything I've handled. And quite the interesting fabric. I wonder how a fur tailor ended up doing something of this sort. The details seem European.
