OK, now that I can not post pictures I will try to give you the links to the fotos of my dress from today. I wore Bugatti shoes, dark blue "Gardeur pour homme" pants (cuffed at the bottom), a white "Eterna" shirt with short sleeves; the jacket is "Atelier Torino" and the hat is a Panama hat with extra wide brim made by Mayser. What do you guys think?

To post your pictures as images rather than links just put
after it. The reason you have to use photobucket and can't load pictures directly into this thread is that they would otherwise take up too much memory on the Fedora Lounge website and cause it to run slowly.

As for how it looks, it may not be vintage but it looks very vintage inspired. The only things I would personally change are to wear a shirt with long sleeves and a point collar rather than a spread collar, but these are simply my personal preferences.

Thank you for your comments on the dress and the help with the pictures. I still haven't figured out how to do it, but I'll get to it someday! I wore the short sleeved shirt because of the warm and sunny weather here - normally I prefer long sleeves, too. Let's see what style this day will bring...

No need to be sorry, Tomasso! I'm quite grateful for comments - even if they are slightly critical, thank you for that. Don't let the length of the jacket fool you: in fact it is very tight, i can barely close it. I love jackets that are a bit longer than usual...

We built this during the past week in architecture. It held 850 pounds before we ran out of weights.

Going out friday night with my lovely wife. It was "cold" and rainy with a storm over the town. Perfect excuse to wear that gray flannel 1960s suit I got from Orgetorix!

Looking at vintage ladies hats with my wife in Catherine's Closet the best vintage clothing store in Honolulu. Its in a lovely little art deco building on Merchant Street (one of the former homes of the Honolulu Star-Bulletin Paper), which itself is sandwiched in between the also wonderful Alexander Baldwin Building and the Stangenwald building:

It's extremely interesting, but what is it? I see bicycle tyres and what looks like spring-leaf suspension but...???

Is it just a sculpture or...Wah?

Architecture project for "Structures Week". We were given a height and a width of two loading points and had to design a structure to hold weights at those points. No member could be longer than 1m, so we had to get creative with our lamination on the long beam. The wood was scrap plywood, the bike wheels were used ones donated by bike repair shops, which was good, because we were also judged on cost.
