Very dapper Danny O! I love that tie and is that a Rolex I spy?

I hope you have enough Moet to go around ;)

Rue,

Why thank you! And yes, you obviously know your watches, which is very refreshing, coming from a lady!

There's always enough Moet to go around, it's just a case of when one gives in, to the gin! Not long, in my case! ;)

Even with the sports watch.......:(

Tomasso,

Thanks! I have to agree with you on the watch. I get used to wearing the same one everyday, and it becomes second nature to put it on, I'm afraid.

I am on the lookout for a nice vintage Hamilton, and was sorely tempted with this Jaeger LeCoutre Reverso, recently. Hmmm......

Mario.... very nice and looking cool as a cucumber ;)

rue...in all honesty: being a non-native speaker, this phrase at first left me completely flabbergasted. :eeek: I actually had to look it up in a dictionary before I was able to relax again...

I bring the cucumber...who brings the dressing? ;)

Mario - Amazing summer clothes! All I've got is a 70's linen sport coat. I am however looking for a hopefully vintage linen suit.

Ms. Tuppence - You dress as if it's already summer. :p

Thunderw - Great outift, as usual. Specifics?

Splendid, very much the look of an English Squire like the shirt collar especially

Hmmm, I see, eyes like a hawk!

Then, I would probably have my work cut out, you being a gin lover, and all that! lol

Oh yes, you definitely would. I read the drink list on the drink thread and it would have been a hard decision to make, so I know why you partook of all ;)

I'm sorry Mario... I always forget about our sayings here. I'm glad you figured it out :D

Wearing that, I thought you were a British gentleman. Very well done :)
Has anyone told you that you resemble Heath Ledger?

Thank you.
Been told I resemble a young Robert Sean Leonard but never Heath Ledger. Just call me Joker. :)

Both Danny O. and Atomic Era Tom, I like the looks. You look like you've got the confidence to go with the clothes, too!

I'm a day late (and a dollar short, but aren't we all), in posting this. This was my outfit for yesterday, helping out with a birthday trolley charter. I got to debut my new blue uniform and it all worked well, so I was one cheerful conductor/merry motorman. :)

Relaxing at the end of the day. Jacket and vest are form a thrifted 3-piece suit, pants from Lord knows where, but not an exact match for the suit. As nice as they look, I did buy them expecting that they'll get a bit worn or dirty with time and use.

I picked up a new tie bar that I discovered in the bottom of a bin at the museum store. A nicely rendered PCC streetcar, close-ish in paint to Pittsburgh.

And my favorite part, the cap with changeable cap badges. Cap is from Hats in the Belfry, and the badges are ordered from a T-shirt and trophy customization shop in town.

It was a nice day, our young birthday guest and his friends had fun, and so did our jolly bunch of trolley volunteers. I wish I could dress this way every day, just because the conductor's outfit really brings out that unflappably friendly attitude in me.

Had a fun adventure on a vintage train today for my son's birthday, so top hat and morning dress seemed in order...
