Nice Jielde lamp in the first image. Those sell for around £300 in London... Ironic because they were meant for the factories!
It's actually an original.
I got home from college to find two suits my dad wanted to hand down to me, including this nice Sears off-white three-piece. I wore all but the vest to church, later wishing I'd followed my own advice and not forgone the vest and tie at parental recommendation. So, adding those when I got home, I took a picture with the instrument I want to learn someday when I have a more predictable (and open) schedule.
The pants are a tad tight, but I think if I move my usual pants-pocket contents to the vest, it will look fine. Just based off when my dad was my size, this is probably a late '70s or early '80s suit.
50's "fleck" blazer, (70's?) fair isle sweater vest, 40's tie.
Edward...tell us about the windowpane coat. Also, it looks like a nice spear collar on the shirt.
Oh my. Thanks to everybody for the nice comments. And no worry...we WERE laughing after posing. Here are some more from the weekend with sproily ;-)
