Hope nobody minds that this was Saturday for some swing dancing. I made the dress so I posted it in the PR but I'd like some opinions from the gentlemen on owl print fabric lol

Thanks everyone :) I almost chickened out and found more "normal" fabric for it was instantly bored with the idea. BTW I have worn this to work a couple times, along with most of the other crazy dresses that I make

Rue, another fantastic avatar pic, you do model right?

Aww, HK, it looks cute! (And you do in those pics, too, makes me wish I coulda been your dance partner.)

lol next time I come to Seattle I'll let you know. I'll bring the dress and shoes :D

Very cute, groovy pattern by the look

The skirt rates about a 9 out of 10 on my crucial "twirly" scale for lindy hop. Excellent

I think it's a hoot!

-Dave

lol someone had to say it, right? :D

MikeBravo, it's a 1947 pattern. Now since I'm the one wearing it I'm a bit occupied during a swing out so I don't notice how "twirly" it is, and the fluffy petticoat may have interfered, but like I said I can't tell :)

Boswell: very nice!

 No, but thank you for making me turn twelve shades of red :p lol

Thank you for the compliment, rue.:p About the headless horseman routine, it's just hard, logistically, to get a full picture in my classroom with all the tables and chairs in the way...:eusa_doh:

I know, I just like to tease you about it ;)
