Sproily, I have to agree about the braces. Those metal clips gotta go, honey! I once had a male roommate who was a very dapper gent himself. He paid me to sew (as I do sew) suspender buttons on to three pairs of his dress trousers for him.

I should have gotten them done ages ago. But just haven't got around to it yet.

The thing is.. i've been put off by the amount of work. I have atleast 12 pairs of pants. And I'd need all of them with buttons.

But I'll try to get my girlfriend to sew on the buttons ASAP lol

Wow nice!! :eusa_clap I love the trench! What make is it?

My girlfriend is really into this sort of secretary look herself. You've got it just right! The cut on the jacket looks almost 19th centuryish. Which is nice!
My girlfriend is eager to join also, but she doesn't have the e-mail address necessary..

RobStC: Yes, perhaps we have to open up a thread atleast :) If there isn't one already!

Today I was a bit more sporty looking. New cap and new shoes. A more youthful look I think.

What a great outfit! Very, very nice jacket but that cap blows my mind.. Looks like a heavy tweed? very full, and the bill seems right to me.. Could you post a more detailed pic of that newsboy?

Thanks. It has the softest flannel I've ever felt.

I love that suit and it's more amazing knowing how tall you are! I really appreciate the tie-less suit look too. Who's the diner..girl?

Thanks!
lol
I'm 6'2", and the cut of that suit really accentuates it. It has a fantastic heavy, slightly stiff herringbone fabric which hangs beautifully. Look at the perfectly straight line of the pants creases.

The story the suit came with is that it was worn at the original owner's wedding in the mid-30s. It came with the wedding dress (which I think kept the price down). Whoever the bride was couldn't have been much over 5', and was thin as a rail.

Looking dashing as ever Gijoe, especially the shirt color which look PERFECT with the colors of the jacket and those pinks!:) I'd love a ride in your new Bentley, even if it has to be a virtual one...
