Thanks. The house was built in 1907, and has been the family home since 1917.

My apologies for commenting on old posts, but going through the thread a few ladies have stopped me in my tracks.
GwenLake, this is so beautiful and old-fashioned it makes one start to daydream...

Hmm-- I seem to have a very ballet-like pose in that picture.

A somewhat daring mix of elements today. I can't recall pairing a patterned sportcoat with differently patterned trousers before. Living on the edge!

Corneliani black tweed SB one-button ventless sportcoat
JAB blackwatch plaid cuffed trousers (not too loud)
White-on-white spread collar French cuff shirt
Modernist patterned tie in black and taupe (with touch of maroon)
Black silk pocket square, points up
Black genuine crocodile belt with gold buckle
Cameo cufflinks, white Roman centurion on black background with gold border
Swiss Army watch with black band (right wrist)
Polished stainless steel link bracelet (left wrist)
Gold college ring (right ring finger)
Grooved stainless steel ring (left ring finger)
Calvin Klein Truth cologne
JAB black OTC socks with subtle woven diamond pattern
Cole-Haan black snaffle-bit loafers
1980s vintage Churchill grey fedora with black band, "Churchill" pin
Oakley sunglasses

Stellar tie tylerevansokay, I love your whole look.

The vest/tie/cap ensemble is very sharp Paddy--is that Ross or Harry making a cameo there?

Puppy Love :)

It's Ross :) Considering two-years-ago you couldn't step over him without his having a go at your leg, he has literally come on 'leaps and bounds!;) ' Goes to show what a lot of love, attention and loads of handling can do ;)

And THANK YOU Miss IOF. I hope this finds you in good health, always a pleasure to hear from you. I bid you adieu.

No new dress or anything too exciting but it is my favorite and most comfortable house dress. Here is me with beginthebeguines puppy dog!

Looking real good ... as usual. ;)

By the way, that table cloth print really brings back memories. My grandmother had one like that which always went with us on picnics. I still have it, but it's so old that I would be afraid to use it on the table.

Thank you! That table cloth was sewn up last night! I bought b/c it looked so close to originals.

Well, it fooled me. It is just about identical to the one I have that predates 1958 by who knows how many years.
