Just lucky, i guess. Those cincher belts on the back work wonders for getting that tight waist and tight through the hips - but only if the chest fits just right. helps to have wide hips, as i do.

Today I am wearing one of my least expensive ensembles and since I am pleased with the inexpensiveness I feel like listing the prices.
dark dark blue suit, notch lapel SB, very roomy roomy(Goodwill special, $19, perfect condition, perfect fit, not vintage but nice)
two tone Florsheims, oxblood and black (another Goodwill special, $5)
van heusen black dress shirt (Ross, $11 new)
my non-favorite brown 1930s tie (no amoeba pattern)(vintage store, $5)
brown suede German fedora (cannot recall its provenance)
forgot the pocket square -- don't have a brown one anyway
the classic leather shoulder bag my wife found on the street this week (free)
green lensed 1940s or 1950s safety glasses
(I get a lot of things free or cheap)

I am on my way to Barnes and Noble for book browsing and coffee and this is what I am wearing. Pardon the black and white, the lens glare on the mirror and the red in my eyes were pretty bad so I lessoned the effect with black and white.
