Wow! I fully expect Marty Mathis and Charleston Bows to weigh in on this sportcoat, but I am dazzled. :eusa_clap

Marty who? Where has he been anyway? Thank gosh for CB on holding up the Retailer's feedback.

Especially if they're in the suit variety.

That just means you're just too busy sellin' rags!

Ha ha, you're right. Not only are we selling the rags, but the pails and mops that go with them :p . I've aways thought that if you can have a strong Feb. in the retail trade, that can bode very well the rest of the year for your business.
I know that you're hanging tough and strong in SC. I'll see if I can blow the dust off my computer keys and be a better contributor to the Fedora Lounge. Besides, you probably need a break ;) .
I'm glad to count you as a pal CB.

Very nice look Starius! Are those cords?

Thank you!
Actually, they're just black jeans... but at certain angles the fabric weave in them magically gets kind of a sheen in the light. So I call them my "black magic" jeans.

Even though it's not particularly inspiring like everyone else's wardrobe here, here are some pictures from last night's costume party. (Again, put together at short notice.) The only thing that makes me James Bond is the hair and knit tie, really.

Alan C, I love the light-colored fedora with darker suit; and as usual, I like your socks!

I had a hard time getting excited about going to the office today, but dressing for the day helped me through my reluctance, as it usually does. My workplace has not been a festival of fun lately. :(

Sage SB 3B ventless suit
Marshall Field's French blue point-collar French cuff shirt
Black and silver patterned tie
Rectangular silver tie tack
Custom-made silver pocket square with black cross-hatching, triangular puff fold
Black braces
Mercury dime cufflinks
Fossil watch with gold/silver band (right wrist)
Polished stainless steel link bracelet (left wrist)
Burberry cologne
Dark tan OTC socks (tonally close enough to the sage of the suit that it looks like a near-match)
Florsheim Imperial black wingtips
Bostonian black leather DB trenchcoat
Black leather gloves
Jos. A. Bank black and gold patterned silk/wool scarf
Black wide-brim fedora, with black band, pearl hatpin, feather

Emma Frost of X-Men has apparently become a Bond girl, whilst I fondle my gun to look "badass."

I like the new haircut- Cuffs/sleeves look spot on, too.

I have a tendency to dress up a bit more for the Salon on Saturdays. It feels a bit celebratory for the beginning of my weekend.

Everything's from Forever21,but the shoes.I'm in love with this little black sheath dress which has pockets in the front.
The shoes are Oxfords from the 1930s.
