Wow MissHannah!!! You're beautiful!!!!I'm looking/searching for the same type of high waisted skirt... It's impossible to find, all the skirts I see are very short, mid leg length (Is it the correct term?? lol lol lol)!

Oooh thank you so much! I'm feeling a bit old and ugly at the moment so that boosted my ego no end!

The best place for 'proper' pencil skirts is US ebay. Also you could try vivienofholloway.com She does GREAT pencil skirts in a variety of lengths and fabrics. They aren't on the website but she has them in her shop so you should email - they are always very helpful. Their skirts are about £35-£40 I think and worth every penny in my opinion. I have one in black and I'm saving up for a new one!

Edit: I just checked the site and she has started doing pencil skirts with attached suspenders/braces. Very cute!

Don't worry you're really stunning!!! I saw your post in the "show us your hairdos" thread and it makes me smile because today my hair was exactly the same way... I made a hot set this morning and it was very weird after a few hours!!! I looked like Beetlejuice.... lol!!!

Wicked winter driving here in northeast Wisconsin: 237 accidents in Green Bay and Brown County in the past 24 hours alone. Apparently salt isn't working on the ice because of the low temperatures. I've heard that some states use beet juice on ice, which sounds interesting but I'd be careful of my shoes!

Muted black/white glen plaid single-breasted two-button single-vent suit
Bullock & Jones white spread collar French cuff shirt
Silver and black slant-striped patterned tie with maroon accents (very "rich" looking)
Vintage bronzey lion cufflinks (the lions even have curled tails!)
Silver tie bar, angled down
Black patterned pocket square, points up
Black braces
Silver pocket watch with silver chain clipped to trouser waist (left side) Polished stainless steel bracelet (left wrist)
Calvin Klein Truth cologne
Jos. A. Bank black paisley OTC socks
Bally black plain-toe lace-ups (ultra sleek).
Black leather trenchcoat
Black leather gloves
Red and black patterned scarf
Black wide-brim fedora
LL Bean 5-eyelet duck boots with brown uppers (for the snow)

Harking back to those earlier comparisons of you to Sean Connery, I've just got to say that you've got this...well, star quality, I don't know how to put it better...but way to go, dude. :)

Thanks for the compliments guys. :)

Lucky Strike, as always you have a great sense of style. You're a little more adventurous than I am! Back when you first posted your cord suit on Style Forum, you inspired me to someday get one.

Nice, Jovan! :)

Here's a bad photo of the coat I wore yesterday. It doesn't match the rest of my (casual, long-school-day) ensemble because I wore it on the way back from the cleaners! It's loose, but I need that extra room to layer under it since it's pretty light.

I love a guy that can wear a french cuff shirt with a cotton corded suit, and a barrel cuff with wool plaid suits. Always right on target. Thanks for sharing Lucky.

Jovan, It's young guy's like you that gives us Clothiers a little relieve knowing that all is not lost in the world of the young single man and his dressing habits. For you to not buckle under peer pressure and go out in public looking like a slob is OUTSTANDING. A hearty felt tip of my hat to you buddy ;) .

You are too kind, Mr. Mathis.

MissHannah: As someone who has some semblance of taste (I hope)... I tend to agree with him. ;)
