Saw this film last night and was pleased to see Basil Poledouris was the composer. Great soundtrack. I really do think he was the best, or top three or something when it comes to film scores.

One day, many years ago, for some reason, I decided that I wanted to delve into jazz. I went to the music shop and started looking for an album (CD). I picked out Wynton Kelly on a whim. I didn’t know anything about him except what I read on the liner notes. It was an inspired choice. I still listen to him regularly.
Today, I’m watching him with John Coltrane on YouTube.
