Inspired by the use of Ray Noble in Kubrick's The Shining, here are pieces by the artist known as "The Caretaker" who addresses concepts of memory (and loss) by using 78rpm samples to create new ambient electronic music. He often works with popular songs of the 1920s and 30, though his latest album works with Schubert.

When you hear the music you'll understand why it belongs in a subgenre of electronic music called 'Hauntology'
