Hi All,

First time posting. I recently began my journey into the leather jacket realm. It’s exciting, but I can tell I’ve definitely made some costly mistakes. Now I have 3 jackets in 2 months

I wore a watch for reference on the sleeve length.

Fine Creek Leathers Raymond 44(2mm HH)
Fine Creek Leathers James 42 (1.3mm HH)
The Real McCoy’s J-100 40 (BP9110 HH)

My impression of these three:

The FCL Raymond is a beast, and fits like armor now. The arms took some major work, being 2mm HH. Still needs some work. I’m not sure about the style, but at least it isn’t too tight.

The FCL James is very soft and overall I like the way it feels, but I have broad shoulders, which make the sleeves set shorter on my wrist. I think if the shoulder was 1” wider or the sleeve a bit longer, it would be right. Gonna try to sell it or trade it.

The RMC J-100 is just gorgeous and by far my favorite leather, but unfortunately the sleeves are way too short for my monkey arms. I would love to trade up a size.

Am I right that the sleeves are too short on the James and J-100?

The first jacket in the linked images looks the best. Any J-100 is a guessing game since sleeve length, hem, chest, and shoulder aren’t forgiving with that cut.

Also, allow room for the chest dimension so you can breathe. A runway appropriate look isnt practical in real life

I am also navigating a J-100 which fits well in the chest but sleeve length is a bit long.

You may find wearing a watch challenging with the slimmer sleeves on these

Sleeves too short on all of them.
Overall the J-100 looks best on you.
FCL James looks a bit better than the FCL Raymond from the front. Neither of them look good on you from the back.
Personally I'd sell all of them if I were you.
Sounds about right. Looks like a full restart.
