Around here the coyote moved on from the fast moving land birds.…they seem to fair better with a cat or tiny dog.…. Occasionally an attempt on a small child... or at least that’s what the news says.
They pretty much cleaned out the stray cats around here, a while back.

I don’t really like shooting coyotes, but land owners expect it if they let you hunt game species on their property. I’m allowed to shoot them at work under some circumstances, but I generally don’t. It’s startling to learn just how many coyotes are in the area.

The California moratorium on mountain lion hunting has been a huge ecological disaster. You very rarely see the cats, but tracks and kills are plentiful.

We've always had some urban coyotes here in SF, but they got a little bolder during the lockdown days. Though we have exceedingly few incidents, which is surprising given the amount of dogs there are here.

You might be confusing Coyotes for Dingos. It's a well known fact that The Dingos got her baby!

He's right about the Coyotes. Around my area, in the Central part of Ohio, we've had warnings to keep our small pets inside at night because of Coyotes, and they've been known to attack people, though pretty rare. But you're also right about our own Dingos here in this country. They're now being domesticated and supposedly make good family pets.

It was 40 degrees here today, we're lucky to see temps above zero this time of year. So we celebrated by driving to town for breakfast.
I wore my gold Stetson 4X. It's the most vintage hat I have, 1970s or early 80s.

Here's a rebuild that I did on a Resistol Stagecoach some time ago. I just haven't got around to posting it until now. I reblocked it to a 7 1/4 LO from its original size 7. I also lowered the crown to 6 inches and trimmed the brim to 3 1/2 inches. It now sports a Cattleman and a rolled Cowboy curled brim. The three cord hat band is one that I saved from another hat. No pictures of me wearing the hat yet. I've been under the weather of late and haven't been up to doing much of anything except for sitting around on the couch and watching reruns of Rawhide. But, I'm beginning to do much better!

I really like that bash for the OR, I keep going back and forth with my very similar Borsalino Alessandria. I'm going to try a similar one!
Thanks! I think the OR came out in 1937. I think of the crease as a 1930’s Western dress fedora crease for the likes of an RD. It works equally well with the early 3x6 #52 blocked hats also. But you’d have to ask one of the many experts.
