WANTED: Red kitchen utensils etc

I am putting on a 1940s tea party in two weeks. I collect red kitchen wares from the 20-40's for this purpose(and for my personal kitchen 20-60's). Does anyone have red kitchen stuff sitting aorund they would care to donate for this display. We do it everyyear so they will get use aguan next year and the year after that. Anything! Um..... I have a hand crank beater thingy, a dough blender and thats its! I have more appliances than anything and this year alot of that stuff will not be there as it was not mine. I really want a can opener, a potato masher, a ricer, um...... any spoons, ladles things like that.

neat! unfortunately i don't have anything to donate to your cause! i see kitchen stuff with the paint chipping quite often, but i don't buy it because i'm too paranoid to use it. if i see anything for super-cheap in the near future, i'll pick it up to donate to your cause - it should be ok for display, right?

Yes I own a spoon with chipping paint and whent all the poiant wears off I will sand it and repaint it. But anything as long as its not rusting, paint chipping ok.
