I stick to Wayfarer and Clubmaster.

I like Wayfarers with leather jackets and Clubmasters with a collar and tie. Typically I don't wear Rayban versions as the real value in them is the quality of the lens which I'd only be pulling out to replace with a prescription option. Some of my glasses are Shuron Ronsirs, though, who were the first to released the browline style in 1947 for what little that may be worth.

I'm hoping to expand my collection of glasses soon with a pair or two of sunglasses that have a 30s look, more pre-war. I love my browlines and post-war looks, but it's nice to have that 'earlier' option too.

As a massive Harry Potter fan, I could not love this more.
I did have a good drunken time too. Saw a lot of great homemade costumes. Ill look when I get home from some errand running for a photo of my future sister in law. She made a homemade lion hat like Lunas. Not sunglasses related but pretty badass and I might be wearing my sunglasses in the photo to make up for it ha.

@dudewuttheheck as promised here’s my soon to be sister in law April and her homemade Luna Lion hat/headdress. My black sweater is actually Doctor Who...since I’m not a huge Potter fan I figured I could at least wear some British fantasy related clothing haha. It has Cybermen, Daleks, and DW designed to look like the Tardis. And obviously my Luna sunglasses. Then I got a free shirt from this bar I put on. As it says the theme was Quidditch Crawl. The Vanson was off and back in the car at this point as it got very warm.

@dannyk love the headdress that's awesome! Also love the sweater. I spotted the weeping angels as well and while not a major Dr. Who fan, I have watched that episode several times and still love it.

I'm not sure if I can pull them off myself. :D

I've only got one pair by JMM, and they're replacing an increasingly tatty Kuboraum frame.

What’s the sun? Haven’t seen anything like that in the UK recently.

Original 1970's Bausch & Lomb Ray Ban LO255's today (again !) NOT a motorcycling day. Made in Rochester NY
Even tho' these are the same as Peter Fonda's "Captain America" sunglasses from Easy Rider they are "chit" on the bike.
But they sure do look cool in the car and on the beach during our COVID lockdown 1 hour of allowed outdoor exercise.
Face masks compulsory out of home in Perth Western Australia for at least the next week !
Empty beaches in the backdrop , you are only allowed to move 5 K's from home base.
I had to "fly like the crow" to fit that in today....

One of the nose pads on my original 1940's aviators is missing, so annoying. Today I saw some aviators in our supermarket, they are acceptable and that's about it, but I was wondering if I could transfer a nose pad. Actually, cheap though the supermarket shades are, I rather like them.

I would think you could change out the pads yourself from the supermarket donors. Or I would think any optical shop might have suitable pads.

I have a pair of 1940's aviators that were my dad's. They have a tortoise shell nose bar. The temples are a little short for me but with the cables I can make them work. I enjoy wearing them.

Sorry for the pic. It was taken during the peak of the pandemic last Aug.

I’ve been in Wayfarers so long I’m not sure I could switch. I am getting a bit older. Perhaps a change is due. I’m sort of interested in the rayban caravan.

Best sunglasses and hat combo's . Let's see some pics of your favorites.
My favorites are the old style extreme aviators & small rounds, always wire frames.

I lost my favorite pair of John Lennon rounds in blue tint when my truck was stolen. I love the pair of oval blue tints Dennis Quaid wore as Doc Holliday.
