KittyT for several drinks and a look at her wardrobe, CharlesB for smutty chat, Johanna for make up and hair advice.

I would love to meet Smutty for a questionably legal evening of debauchery lol

I want to meet people, guys and girls alike, who would come over to my apartment to have a fabulous (vintage) makeover night. That's my only criteria.

You know what? I'd like to meet anyone, any age, any sex- it does not matter! Much like the variety here, I'm just looking for someone to hang out with that has an appreciation for Golden Era... well anything! lol Hmmm... an interest in cameras and photography wouldn't be bad though!

Does the fact that I've already had a vintage (well, WWII-inspired) makeover count? If only we were in the same area, I'd certainly be willing to provide a "military escort"...;)

Aha! But the trick is everyone who comes is already vintastic and then we pool our resources for maximum vintage attractiveness. It's fun...to me at least. And the other people involved too I suppose!

It works best for girls though, I must say.

I think Mr B has been suspended. Maybe you could start a grassroots campaign to have him reinstated. He does seem to have a . . . err. . . distinctive . . . way of expressing himself.

Why was he suspended?

lol Is there at least use for an appreciative guy's eye? Besides, once you're all dressed up you might want a companion wherever "somewhere to go" ends up being...;) lol

Yes, yes of course. Plus it's always fun to dress boys up too. And then usually dinner out or I have a dinner party/dance of my own.

Well that's what I meant in the first place.

STILL I'm completely open to anyone who wants to dress in drag. Every man I've ever makeuped secretly loved the way his skin looked I think. ;D

Slapdash? No, Ms. Josephine, camo is usually pretty well planned, especially night-fighting camo: goals being to lighten normally-dark areas (eyes), darken normally-light or shiny areas (forehead, cheeks), and break up the outline so at a distance you don't see a human face.

I could illustrate, but it'd mean meeting on a paintball field... Say, Alex, you ever tried paintballing or airsoft?;)

And then there's "war-paint" which is a whole different story, largely adopted for psychological-warfare and morale-boosting reasons... although those black streaks under footballers' eyes are there mainly to kill the glare of their cheeks as sweat hits 'em.
