I can't remember what the color is, I think it might have been OPI's Kennebunk Port, but I'm not positive. I'll look when I'm at the salon next time. I really should get my nails painted more often, I just always put it off for a later time.

Here's the manicure I got for the Art Deco Fest at a lovely little 18th century themed salon named Kreme De La Kreme in Long Beach.

And they knew exactly what we were talking about when we said, please don't paint the half moons.

Has anyone here seen Casino? It's not really the focus of FL (starts in late 60's and goes through to earlier 80's). Sharon Stone has a very interesting manicure at one point. It looks basically like a french manicure, but where it would normally be white, her nail were red. Her character was a bit shady (former hooker and drug dealer), so I'm curious if this was a trend or just something she did.

I have a coupon for a free bottle of OPI. I already have the "Waitress" one. Are there any other fantastic, must have colors?

Hmmm, what kindof colour? There are three from the Russian collection which I really love. Boris & Natasha is a really vampy dark wine, St Petersburgundy is a lovely deep red and Vodka and Caviar is a more bright, classic red.

But don't take my word for it, I just googled and found swatches of the collection.

Haha, that's so funny, I was looking at Vanessa's nails and thinking "Gee, I should ask what colour that is, it's lovely!". Turns out it's already in my collection, and a favourite no less! lol

Has anyone tried doing a half-moon manicure with the KONAD nail stamps? They have a french manicure disk. The stamp could be used to paint around the half moon and then paint the rest. OR to add a white half moon after painting. What do you think?
Here is a video which nicely shows how the KONAD nail stamps are used.

Those types of strips are excellent for French manicures - Not so excellent for half-moons, in my experience. They leave a sort of bar across the nail, instead of a moon shape.

Has anyone had success with them? I could never manage it.

I accidentally got a good shot of a reinforcement manicure. The purpose was to get a shot of my guy's bruised earlobe (I didn't know it was possible to do that!)
