As do I, but that is a totally different thing from fruit whiskeys.PS I have MANY bottles of UN-chill filtered Scotch. Not cloudy at all unless they get cold. http://www.whiskyforeveryone.com/whisky_basics/chill_filtration.html

It just made me look and notice that it did not have even a stick magazine.....I thought that interesting. I suppose even those 20 rounds would be to heavy for that grip...

Brandies ARE fruit whiskies....they too distill clear. Not sure what you are talking about unless you mean beers, wines and hard ciders. 'Whiskies" are high distillates. As do I, but that is a totally different thing from fruit whiskeys.

I wish I lived close enough to test the brew for you!Blackthorn, you've inspired me to look for an apple cider press to get set up before this fall. And some pots to ferment in.
Agreed...............lets each toast the other with a nice glass of Scotch!!! NEAT!!!!Let's just let it go.
Such a cool story!!!! We had several agencies around here....city and county with similar weapons at one time (including M-3's, the usual M2 Carbines and one department had two De Lisle Carbines in 45 acp and another two Reising M50 also in 45 acp). Most were simply destroyed rather than come to the creative solution your department did.......With the butt stock attached it weighs almost 11 lbs. When I became a PO, the department where I worked had two Naval Arms Thompson's, along with assorted magazines, original cases and such. Both were retired, with one even having a slightly bent barrel.
Several years later when the PD was looking to fund the newly formed Special Response Unit, the two were traded with a dealer and provided 5 H&K mp5 a2's, several AR's and assorted equipment. Many thousands of dollars.
Blackthorn, your pic got me to reminiscing & looking for an old cider press:
That was my first thought as well, immediately followed by "California? I wonder which bridge that is." Shorpy's caption for this photo reads, "San Francisco, 1937. 'Don Lee Oldsmobile on Golden Gate Bridge with police officer.' Whose cruiser we can see reflected in the bumper."^^^Nice Oldsmobile!
