I watched a program on the History Channel about the history of coffee - they said that instant coffee was hugely popular outside of the US and that in many places it is preferred over brewed coffee.

My taste buds weep for these people.

OK, this morning I made my husband instant coffee and cornflakes for breakfast so he won't cheat on me at the office but will bring me flowers. I've stopped having those pesky opinions and thoughts too. Thanks for the instructional videos, it's saved my marriage.

My mother once said, "Whoever complains about my cooking, is the next cook." Several nights later, my father blurted out, "This roast is too salty," then looked up to see all of us staring at him, especially mother, "but," he said, "that's just the way I like it!"

Those older ads used to make a woman feel guilty for everything domestic: remember "ring around the collar?"

These days, the ads make a man look like a doofus.

Guess they have to pan somebody. In reality, if my father didn't like his coffee, neither would mother. She drank more of it than he did.

My bf knows he can complain all he wants about something not being right.

He also knows he best do it politely.

That's all there is to that.

A real man wouldn't let you boss him around. Ooops, I meant to say, YES DEAR. I liked "Watch Your Weight" illustration. They forgot "show cleavage"
I was happily married for 12 years until that one morning when I made a bad cup of coffee. Then everything fell apart.
