Thankful to of found it. lol
The older I get the more thankful I get for sure.

I always told my children that I am thankful we live in a country that I don't have to see them or my children walking around with a bowl looking for some rice.

OK, maybe this is pathetic, but I am grateful to find here, in this virtual space, that there are people who have the perspective and wisdom to be grateful for what they have. I have to keep reminding myself how lucky I am to have good health, good albeit quirky friends, wonderful dogs and cats, a beautiful woman to share my life. It is way too easy for me to fall into that other mindset and gripe about every unimportant thing. Thanks to you all for this thread.

I'm thankful for my new friends on the lounge, and that the lounge was brought back so quickly. I am also thankful for the opportunity to spend time with my Mom, she was recently diagnosed with Alzheimers. For the insulin pump manufacturer who sent me a loaner for 90 days after my out of warranty pump died. Mostly tho, I am thankful for being alive .

Today? Windows XP System Restore, specifically that it was able to succesfully rip out Service Pack 3, which for some reason was preventing me from receiving an IP address whenever I tried to make a WiFi connection...

Thank God for System Restore and SP2!
