I have a Stetson with spiral stitching. It’s the 150th Anniversary Benchmark. I bought it about eight years ago.

Here's another Stetson Quality Assurance slip that was with a Nutria Quality hat dating from the 1940's to early 50's. John Gavin is the Stetson employee on this slip.

Correction -- I'm not sure that John Gavin Quality Assurance slip came with the Nutria hat but it may have. Here's another slip with Stetson employee Leroy Farley named. The Nutria hat had 1 of these 2 slips in it, behind the sweatband, and another Stetson had the other slip. Also, here's a different kind of slip that came with one of them, I think, but it may have been with some other hats.

Don't know if it's the golden age, but I picked up these two stetson gift boxes over here. Did not expect to find them here to be honest.

Finally dug around and found a small picture frame for the Stratoliner Matchbook cover. I was nervous with it sitting in a baggie in the desk drawer... Now its safe. Just need to look through my leather and fabrics for something to use as a background.

As a side note, if you ever try to display an old matchbook, be careful with the striking surface. When this came in it was well packaged and protected for shipping, but the material on the striking surface had deteriorated and was all loose around the surface. no harm as it just blew off with a little air and it didn't stain anything. Consider spraying with a good archival clear spray before displaying. (Photo supply stores sell a clear matte finish spray for photos that is truly archival with no risk of staining or spotting)

Frame is a bit big for one matchbook, so I guess I need to start looking for another to go it with. This one is from
Stetson Philadelphia.... maybe one from New York would be a nice pairing.
