Here is a photo of the two "Open Roads" I own. (the one on the right is a Soverign) The center hat belonged to my Grandfather. It got me started on hat collecting. He was a volunteer fireman in the small town of Jerome, Idaho and often fought fires while wearing his fedora instead of the heavy metal helmets they had. Something one could do in small town USA in the 50's and early 60's. It's definitely my favorite hat and the one that gets the most wear.
