Hmm, I'm not even sure if this qualifies, since I didn't bid on it because I knew it would go way beyond my budget. But I was still sad to see it go, I thought it was just precious.

And I was right about the price too, it ended up going for $152.50!

I have a dress like that--except it is sleeveless, and has a few rips by the zipper.

Oh go ahead and contradict him What does he know anyway he's male. He owns 6 pairs of shoes 4 of which are boots that were issued to him by the Marine Corps. I should have ignored him on it and bid anyway, lol my fault for listening to the voice of reason!

Here's one that I didn't even bid on (I don't think I did, anyways), but I pretty much knew it would go very high. It's an Edwardian swimsuit, and I would just love to own one some day, just as a collectors item, because as impractical as they were, I think they're charming, and it would be such a fond reminder of the time I love best.

Ha! Thanks FooFoo... I had emailed the seller afterwards just in case the sale didn't go through, and she showed me the blue one too. Just doesn't hold the same oomph for me as the pink one, DARN! So close and yet so far!
