Actually seriously, it's the title that's often used for producers working on arts and cultural projects, like me.

And Dr Greg, that's a classic. Though I bet you felt like bunging a smoke in both ears sometimes so you didn't have to listen to some advertiser have a good old moan.

Ah, yes of course, Smithy - Home & Away, Days of our Lives, most 'reality' shows, the producers of most American sit-coms....the list goes on.

Not commercial advertising per se, but I've kept my hand in it lately by writing and producing a series of on-screen trailers for upcoming events done by our local film society. We have some very creative people locally, including a fellow who does a lot of CGI work for big-name Hollywood features, and he's responsible for the clever camera trickery.

The gimmick for all of these are the characters of "two local fishermen," who turn up whenever and wherever, always in the same guise.
